No weaving here...
Last night I decided I'd better work on the knitted shawl, as the deadline is starting to loom (heh!). And after I got too bored with that, I took a look at a new book - "Card Weaving", by Candace Crockett.

I find card weaving interesting because I haven't figured out how it works yet, and I love figuring out how things work; plus I am amazed by the patterns that can be achieved using cards. I'm not sure I'll ever do much card weaving, but I will be giving it a try in the future. I didn't get very far into the book so I can't give a review yet.
I also bought "Tapestry Weaving", as I've always loved to draw but am truly awful at it. I think tapestry weaving might let me 'draw' with yarn, and still have it look halfway decent. :-)
I'll be back on the loom tonight!
